The Korean Embassy has had a close relationship with Kenya for the last 56 years, solidified by various collaborations from different sectors including Human Capital Development and scholarships, healthcare, water development, education, ICT and rural development. As such, these collaborations have given rise to the dissemination of information through arts, culture, and most significantly, the Korean Cultural Period (October 1st – 31st 2020).

Project Background

Every year, the Korean Embassy has a Cultural Period where they showcase the best of what Korea has to offer. Unfortunately, in 2020, due to the pandemic this physical event could not happen. Trio Digital was engaged to find a way to take this event online.

Our Role

We worked with The Korean Embassy to design and develop an interactive website for the Korean Cultural Period that acted as the hub for the event. This multimedia experiential website hosted a wide range of content with an engaging user experience including exclusive available Korean Movies, Music and informative content about the bi-lateral relationship between Kenya and Korea. Additionally, Trio Digital worked to plan and execute a strategic digital marketing and advertising plan to drive traffic to the website while promoting and creating awareness for the Korean Cultural Period.

The creative partnership between Trio Digital and The Korean Embassy was exciting. It was intriguing to work with the team and especially during the Korean Cultural Period where we helped them to push the festival across online platforms. All in all, we had a blast working with them.

 In 2020, The BOMA of Africa Festival which is usually held annually had to switch to a virtual event as a result of the pandemic and the restriction it came with. The African Union team thus engaged Trio Digital to make the festival a success even with the circumstances brought about by COVID-19. 

Our Role

The collaboration between The African Union and Trio Digital sought to optimally use the relevant digital communications platforms and channels to create and share daily content that generates awareness and engagement to a targeted audience about the Festival & the Creative Arts Challenge.

Working with The African Union to achieve their grand goals was inspiring, fun, and eye-opening for the Trio Digital team. This month-long festival enabled us to interact with a lot of ideas and opportunities.

Trust Graphic Novel

TRUST GRAPHIC NOVEL

Trust is a graphic novel, funded by Interchain, Cardano Foundation, and Gitcoin among others, which seeks to inspire the next generation of African Youth about blockchain technology through the power of storytelling. They hope to inspire millions of African youth to imagine alternative futures and create them by providing them with the necessary training and tools. To achieve their goal of reaching 1 million African youth, the book is free to read and available in a mobile-first digital format.

The creative and innovative team at Trust Graphic Novel saw the need to share the story on an online platform.

Our Role

Trio Digital partnered with Trust Graphic Novel to develop a website for their team with elements of the artist’s previous work, while working with the authors – Chief Nyamweya and Anne Connelly to deliver their goals.

The partnership with Trust Graphic Novel was an extremely fun learning experience, as we got to understand their vision of a future that is free from the issues that we experience in our daily lives, while also providing the targeted audience with the tools to create that future.

Socabelec aimed at providing an, “All Under One Roof Solution “online solution” for the industrial customer. They therefore engaged Trio Digital to turn this vision into to a reality.

Our Role

Trio Digital worked with Socabelec to develop and bring their website vision to life. Our work with them then birthed the Duka La Soka project. Duka La Soka is an online shop for Filter generator hydraulic and pneumatic parts in Kenya. The online shop prides itself in selling filters: Oil filter, Air Filter & Accessories, Hydraulic Filter, Generator Parts, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Components, all available in one click.

Working with Socabelec to help them develop their website and to help them establish an online base was a fruitful and fulfilling process for us. They were a fun client to work with and we truly enjoyed the process of helping them to achieve their goals.
