Project Background
In order to address water scarcity and water security, UNESCO with funding from the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, (under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic) in 2020 launched a 2-year project to provide access to adequate, clean and safe water to improve livelihoods, promote sanitation and hygiene for communities in Turkana.
Our Role
The collaboration between UNESCO and Trio Digital sought to document and track the progress of the project. To do this, we travelled to Turkana, conducted interviews with the project beneficiaries and on-site implementation team. The output of this was a video documentary, a project report, photo album and infographic brochures.
Working with UNESCO to achieve their grand goals was inspiring, fun, and eye-opening for the Trio Digital team. The interactions and documentation of the stories of these inspiring beneficiaries was the highlight of project.
